The kindergarten program is a full day program running from 8:00 a.m. until 3:15pm.

The Pre-Kindergarten classes meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There is both a morning and afternoon session. The morning session runs from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. and the afternoon session runs from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. The fee for Pre-Kindergarten is $100 a month.  The Prek class does offer a 5-day morning option for 4 year olds.  Price is $165/month.  The Preschool class meets on Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. An afternoon session is held only if the morning class fills. The cost for preschool is $65 a month. The preschool also offers 3 day morning option (T-W-Thur)-Cost of $100/month.  Both Pre-Kindergarten and Preschool require a $30 deposit to hold an enrollment spot.

Yes. SJCS is a fully accredited by the state of Kansas and NCA and is a member of the Diocese of Wichita. The Diocese is a member of the Kansas Board of Education and consists of 4 high schools and thirty-seven grade schools.

There is not a tuition at SJCS. SJCS Catholic parents tithe to their local parish. The financial arrangements are made between the parent and their parish pastor. The only tuition paid at SJCS is by our non-Catholic students. There is an enrollment fee of approximately $225.00 that is paid by all parents which covers some textbook rental costs and other miscellaneous fees.

Fees for Non-Catholic Students:

Grades Kindergarten through 6th Grade: $3,000.00 a year/$300 a month

Additional siblings = $750 a student

School begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Students may arrive at 7:45 a.m. for student supervision.

Yes, The St. Joseph Catholic School uniforms are red or grey shirts with blue pants. Also, girls have an option for a plaid jumper or plaid skirt. The uniforms can be purchased through Schoolbelles Uniforms only. The school also has used uniforms available for a small donation. For grades 3 – 6:

Yes, USD 418 provides our lunches. Occasionally USD 418 students are out of school when we are in and the SJS students bring sack lunches on those days. The price of one school lunch is $3.45 (price may change for new school year). Students may also bring their own lunch if they so desire. Free and reduced priced lunches are also available for those who qualify according to the state income guidelines.

St. Joseph school does not offer any transportation or bus service to or from our school.

Grades K-6 attend Mass two times a week. The a.m. pre-kindergarten class attends Mass once a week.

At SJCS every effort is made to keep parents informed of their student’s progress and the many events and activities that go on throughout the school year. We are blessed with dedicated parents who assist the school in many ways such as fund-raising, and volunteering in the school. Parents are invited to become part of our PTO, Room Parents, and any committee work we have throughout the year.
